It's Wild Alright!

I'm ( Bethany )actually sitting in Buffalo Wild wings as I'm writing this. Our local B-dubs in zanesville open a new restaurant and we decided to try it out tonight. I'm glad baby girl was with the baby sitter cause there is NO way I would have liked her to be in here. It is soo loud in here Dean and I practically have to yell at each other to talk. In the dining area we are sitting in there 24 Tv's. Which is perfectly alright if your a sports fan. Service was absolutely nothing to write home about. We waited just over 30 minutes for our appetizer of boneless wings which were delicious and not over breaded. We waited and waited for apps. And no sooner had we started eating it and our meals came. It felt as though I was rushed to eat my wings so I could eat my meal. My meal was grilled chicken burritos, they were very yummy and would certainly order again. It came with chips and salsa too. - Bethany

I ( Dean )had a Honey BBQ Bacon cheeseburger. It was good but not the best bacon cheese burger I've ever had. It was good for a being a big -box restaurant. The wings that I had, while meaty, were unnessecessarily spicy. And lacked any of the true flavor of garlic. For dessert we split a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream that was very good. I was glad to see that it lacked any of the annoying cherry or almond favors that are found in many food supplier boxed cakes. The service, was rather terrible for a place that was over staffed. I actually had to get my burger condiments from the runner. I ended up leaving a very poor tip. On plus they the did remove the wings from the bill because of the long wait. And in the in-house triva game, I consistently placed second in points.

And we've been working hard..... Our "new to us" house is FINALLY empty! And we have been working hard for the past few days on getting it kinda cleaned up. We've have taken a big job under our belts and we're just grabbing roots and growling all the way.                                                                              This is littlest bedroom in the house, its going to be our guest room.  To get it up to snuff its going to need wall, door repairs, new carpet, paint and windows.   This is the upstairs bathroom. Don't you just love our harvest gold bathtub? In order to hide the hideous, I'm going to paint the walls a golden yellow.  To get it looking better it needs, new flooring, vanity, mirror, and paint.    This is going to be our room....

Soup its Whats for Supper !

Since I was a little girl I have always loved Olive Garden. Mainly all you can eat soup, bread sticks and salad. Ok, ok, nix the salad in that. I love soup and bread sticks!  When they came out with Zuppa Tuscana not only was I in love with it but my whole family was. We have been known to sit and analyze our bowls of soup to try and figure out what makes it the best.  I never tried to make it until after I married Dean. My first try I followed a copy-cat recipe. It was ok but it wasn't "IT".   While cruising along the produce department of the grocery store I decided to try and make Zuppa again. I'm so glad I did.  But this time I didn't use a recipe. I used my taste buds and memory of what it should taste like.  It was so close to having the actual stuff that in a blind taste test it would have been very,very close.  Along with the soup I set the bread machine out to mix up some dough for bread sticks.
